Welcome!My name is Noa de la Vega, and I am a PhD Candidate at the Eitan Berglas School of Economics, Tel Aviv University. My research focuses on topics in labor economics, applied microeconomics, and gender economics.
My study on the effect of childbirth on earnings, time use and life-satisfaction outcomes, has been published at Labour Economics under the title: The Differential Effect of Childbirth on Men's and Women's Careers. I have written and received several fellowships to support my training. These include the Israel Pollak fellows program for outstanding PhD students (2021-2023), the Council of Higher Education of Israel and the Ministry of Finance scholarship (2021-2023) and the Doctoral fellowship for outstanding PhD students at Tel Aviv University (2019-2023).
